Position Title: Human Resources Generalist

Reports to: Director, People & Culture

Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR related duties, with a specific focus on immigration compliance and provider contracting.

The goal is to ensure the People & Culture department's operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

  • Liaison with the internal teams to create and track end to end progress of provider contracts.
  • Drive the process of credentialing providers so they can onboard as soon as possible.
  • Facilitate visa applications and continuously track progress of candidate status.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation including employee files and timekeeping.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for qualified applicants while focusing on ways to better streamline new hire experience.
  • Communicate with new hires before their start date to provide necessary information (e.g. work schedules and contract details).
  • Gather candidate experience feedback from new hires
  • Manage the exit interview process
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and employee recognition program.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Org Development or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office; proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and Talent Management systems (currently using NetSuite, iCIMS).
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) a plus
  • Must have experience working with immigration compliance or global mobility
  • Highly skilled in people relations, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution, organizational, and attention to detail.
