(Responsibilities Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and hourly divisional personnel; conducts new-employee orientations. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed. Serves as a primary point of contact employees and assists with employee relations issues, questions, and concerns. Builds relationships with staff at all levels of the organization. Manages disability and leave of absence processes with employees for FMLA, STD and LTD while ensuring adherence to ADA and HIPAA. Understands Berry's Benefit Plans. Manages and updates Human Resource documents in Compliant Pro. Maintains, updates and ensures accuracy of information in HRIS (Infinium). Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Completes special projects as established by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and developing and organizing information and fulfilling transactions. Must be able to travel 40%. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or four years of Human Resource related experience. 3 or more years of demonstrated Human Resources/employee relations experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively in one-on-one settings and in large group forums. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities along with strong time management and prioritization skills. Excellent people skills. Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, and accuracy with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
