We equip correctional leaders, volunteers, and incarcerated men and women to make prisons more rehabilitative places; we advocate for a more restorative criminal justice system; and we collaborate with churches and local service providers to support former prisoners, their families, and their communities.Prison Fellowship is an organization committed to the highest standards of conduct, ethics and Christian values. Our conduct is guided by and grounded in the Bible, as reflected in our Statement of Faith below.What we are looking for:A driven and mission-focused Human Resources Generalist to provide services and support in multiple functional areas of HR, with a focus on employee onboarding and engagement, recruiting, wellness, and leave management.Expectations of this role:

• Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
• Partner with Senior Recruiting Manager to support full lifecycle recruiting to include prescreening, employment checks, and onboarding assignments
• Work closely with Senior Benefits Counselor to assist with benefits administration and wellness initiatives
• Coordinate and facilitate various employee events held throughout the year such as new hire orientation, onboarding, and recognition programs
• Partner with Manager, Human Resources on employee relations issues and assist with new hire and annual performance review administration
• Provide administrative support for the overall HR function

• 3-5 years of HR experience; SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, Teams, ADP Workforce Now, and Applicant Tracking Software
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, possessing a high degree of accuracy, and able to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field and a good understanding of state and federal employment regulations
• This is a hybrid position in Leesburg, VA requiring the ability to travel 5-10%
