Our current Human Resources Generalist has moved up in the organization, creating an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team.We're seeking a warm, proactive professional who thrives on helping others and can bring both heart and precision to our HR operations. This full-time year-round role is all about Serving First by supporting our incredible team members through payroll, benefits, recruiting, training, and the countless behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our resort running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:* Attitude is Everything. Establishes and maintains positive friendly working relationships (KRP - Kindness, Respect, Professionalism) with all resort team members and guests in person, by email, and over the phone.* Excellence in Execution. Maintains Human Resource Information System records with accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for completion and accuracy of all personnel files and documents. Conducts audits as needed and/or directed.* Long Term Thinking. Assists in development and evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals and the resort branding. Recommending new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services performed.* Compiles reports and trends analytical data as needed and/or directed.* Coordinates and audits benefits and leave administration, including enrollment, billing and administration.* Creates and maintains master documents and procedures for all benefits and leave programs.* Creates, coordinates and/or facilitates various HR related programs and initiatives, including training sessions, orientation, and team member recognition events.* Maintains and organizes the Human Resources office, including mail, office supplies, and other administrative needs.* Serves as a resource to team members for HR related inquiries* Other projects and duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director.QualificationsWe're Looking for Someone Who:* Achieved an Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* You enjoy working at a computer for the majority of your workday. You have intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. You love using technology to develop better processes and improve results.* You enjoy the details. You take pride in the accuracy and quality of your work. You are patient and conscientious and let nothing slip through the cracks despite sometimes frequent interruptions in the office. Both the content and the presentation of your work are important to you - all work must be highly polished.* You are approachable and hospitable. You communicate in a clear and friendly manner. You always remain calm even in difficult or frantic situations. You can maintain the highest level of confidentiality and trust.* You are flexible and always willing to learn more. You understand the demands of exceeding the needs of our team members and customers. If you have previous experience in a human resources environment, that's even better!* You want to be part of a close-knit team.
