Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Augusta, GA. This role is essential for fostering a positive work environment, ensuring employee satisfaction, and managing all aspects of human resources and benefits within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with team members to address concerns, provide support, and foster a positive work culture
- Develop and deliver training programs as needed to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Oversee and manage the company's benefits package, ensuring it remains competitive and meets employee needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date company team member records in compliance with legal requirement
- Manage the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
- Facilitate the off-boarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and necessary paperwork
- Stay current with HR laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus but not required
