These factories produce a wide variety of products to meet our business needs demand.   Daktronics sells, designs, manufactures, and services large video and scoring systems for sports, business, and government applications. The Personnel department supports Daktronics employees worldwide, with a mission to enable Daktronics success through people, for long-term mutual prosperity.      Our Human Resources team fosters an engaging environment that enables Daktronics success through people. The individual who fills this position will be part of the Human Resource (HR) Generalist team within the Personnel department, which focuses on finding and retaining top talent through partnerships across the organization.What are my responsibilities?   + Partner with our HR teams to implement and foster best practices consistent with Daktronics philosophies.  + The HR Generalist responsibilities are focused on the employee experience.  You will engage with employees regularly throughout their entire lifecycle, including recruiting and hiring activities such as interviewing, onboarding, employee discussions, and end of employment processes.      + Strive to optimize standards through continuous improvement and provide valuable insight on creating efficiencies and streamlining processes. You will engage and lead projects to support HR on people and organizational initiatives.      Where will I work?  This position will be required to report to our Brookings campus during the week. Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a home office occasionally. Exact working hours are flexible, but this position will be based on working during regular business hours in the Central time zone.    What do I need to be successful?   We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated success in HR, leadership, or supervisory experiences at Daktronics or other organizations. Positively building supportive and trusting relationships through all interactions to meet the needs of the organization is key and includes following through with commitments, sharing knowledge, anticipating needs, asking clarifying questions, informing, maintaining confidentiality, and modeling professionalism. A successful HR Generalist communicates effectively, instills trust, is customer focused, collaborates, is action oriented, learns quickly, is a problem solver, and demonstrates self-awareness. Helpful experiences include strong communication, experience following or enforcing policy, practicing attention to detail, multitasking, and leading project and/or process improvements. Qualifications+ A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with a preferred focus in Human Resources or Business. Leadership or supervision experiences are a plus.+ You will also need demonstrated experience in the areas listed below:  + High level of proficiency in Office365 tools.  + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.  + Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail.  + Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.  + Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and building effective relationships.  + Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with accuracy.  + Commitment to following policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality.+ Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.+ Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position.Daktronics is an equal opportunity employer.
