Job Description :

We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking, and process-driven communicator to join our team as an HR Generalist. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing a broad range of HR support to team members across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the recruitment process and onboarding for the site.
  • Supporting all aspects of talent management at the site.
  • Collaborating with the Payroll Specialist to ensure training compliance.
  • Assisting the HR Generalist with open enrollment and benefits administration.
  • Processing site claims (e.g., workers' compensation, unemployment) and handling appeals.
  • Managing and tracking FMLA and AAP requirements for the site.
  • Acting as the site point of contact for random drug testing, investigations, and appeals.
  • Partnering with Payroll, Finance, and Operations teams to support payroll processing.
  • Driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Actively participating in safety initiatives at the site.

This position is based in Decatur, AL, with occasional travel to other production facilities as needed.

Safety is our top priority, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of human resources experience.
  • Experience with SAP payroll, Microsoft Office, and HR-related systems.
  • Strong commitment to safety and active involvement in safety initiatives.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with SuccessFactors and/or Beamery.
    • Familiarity with NOVAtime and payroll software.
    • Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's talent systems, analytics, and reporting.
    • Benefits administration experience.
    • Background in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
    • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
    • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification.
