Human Resources Generalist - Russell Tobin : Job Details

Russell Tobin and Associates/Pride Global is currently seeking an HR Generalist to work for our client's team in either Seattle, WA or New York, NY. Title: HR Generalist

Pay Rate: $33.00 - $36.50/hourly

Work Location: Seattle, WA or New York, NY - Fully Onsite

Duration: 6 month contract role with a possibility of extension or conversion

Schedule: 40 hours week // M - F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
• Manage employee relations (ER) cases, including investigations, performance management, and issue resolution.
• Process HR paperwork and ensure compliance with established procedures and company policies.
• Prepare internal employee communications related to benefits, compensation, and company policies.
• Triage and prioritize ad-hoc cases, managing a workload of 5-10 cases per day.
• Collaborate with a social, highly collaborative team of HR professionals to deliver results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in employee relations (ER) and performance management investigations.
• Experience conducting performance management investigations in a large organization.
• Familiarity with Case Management Systems (CMS) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining high judgment and prioritization skills.
