The Empire State Divisional Headquarters is seeking a temporary Human Resources Generalist for assignment up to and possibly beyond year end. This is a terrific opportunity to work with an excellent team of professionals in all aspects of Human Resources. This would be an excellent opportunity for a student in a human resources curriculum or recent grad, all the way to seasoned professional seeking an interim assignment.
SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible for assisting the DHQ Human Resource department that supports nearly 500 full and part time staff within the Empire State Division. Primary responsibilities for posting positions, creation of offer letters as well as conducting required background checks. Updating ADP HRIS with employee changes.

Qualifications:SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS.
Strong customer service orientation.
Recruitment and interviewing skills.
Knowledge and experience as an ADP practitioner with ADP Workforce Now software preferred.
Knowledge and ability to produce spreadsheets and documents in Excel and Word.
Knowledge of ICIMS recruiting software preferred.
SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
Strong skills in organization, written and oral communications are required.
Ability to interpret policies and technical and detailed guidelines.
Must be able to juggle shifting priorities.
Attention to detail a must.
A valid drivers license with no major restriction and which must be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
