Position SummaryReporting to the manager, the Industrial/Organizational Psychologist Intern is responsible for research, coordination and functional support to the Leadership & Talent Development team. The intern will assist with data analysis, research, operational, and administrative support for many of the department initiatives and annual processes.Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:
  • Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.
  • Performs best-practice research for latest industry trends as it relates to the new hire experience/onboarding, talent planning/review, succession planning and other talent practices.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating the goal setting, mid-year, year-end performance evaluation processes.
  • Supports employee survey action planning - including content creation, communication, and manager tracking.
  • Develop/edit PowerPoint presentations and communications.
  • Conduct research on DEI related topics, create and manage surveys.
  • Assist and participate in hospital event coordination and planning.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Required: Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources or closely related field.
  • Required: 1-3 years of administrative experience.

  • Able to deal professionally and efficiently with all staff and all levels of management and external constituencies.
  • Perform multiple duties in a high volume area.

  • Excellent telephone manners and communication skills including public speaking and presentation skills.
