You may be just the perfect candidate for this or other roles within our company.From your PASSION to oursThe Human Resource Intern will assist the Human Resources Department with various HR assignments and projects within Lactalis American Group (LAG). The HR Intern will support a team of HR professionals with projects in the areas of payroll & benefits, HR systems management, setting up employee interviews, processing employee hires, changes and terminations, various HR projects and other capacities of Human Resources.From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: •Assist with recruiting•Schedule interviews and plant tours•Assist with the onboarding process, set up orientations•Assist with maintaining common areas, uniforms and employee Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)•Assist with the planning and execution of special events and activities•Assist with payroll-related responsibilities, documentation and tracking•Assist with employee training•Actively work with and communicate with other departments to assist with their human resources needs•Audit employee files, policies and procedures•Review, correct, and track various human resources documents and forms•Scan employee records•Other duties or tasks as assignedRequirementsFrom your STORY to ours•Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education•Recent graduate or current college student in their sophomore year or greater, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business with a concentration in HR ManagementExperience•Previous experience working with human resources preferred•Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredSpecialized Knowledge•Basic understanding of human resources concepts and topics•Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)•Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferredSkills/Abilities•Familiarity with computer operation•Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR informationThe ideal candidate will be proactive and dynamic, flexible and receptive to new ideas, down to earth and pragmatic, analytical and attentive to detail. They will also be capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, of managing stress and remaining calm under pressure, and be able to demonstrate an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills. Will demonstrate a sense of responsibility and high professional standards, honesty and integrity, and objectivity. Possess values of ambition and engagement, with simplicity.Pay: $19.00 per hour.
