Speed Global Services is looking for a Human Resources Manager to add to our team! We are avidly seeking a Human Resources Manager who will be primarily handling all HR functions within the company including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, Federal and State Compliance, performance management, and payroll functions.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing all recruitment activities within the company

* Creating job descriptions

* Posting available positions internally and externally

* Reviewing and sourcing resumes

* Conducting interviews, including phone and in person

* Review and meet with new staff to handle onboarding

* Schedule and set up drug test appointments with for new hires.

* Handle all employee relations issues

* Provide guidance to managers regarding issues that arise with staff.

* Handle disciplinary meetings when required.

* Track disciplinary progression for staff.

* Ensure fair and consistent progressive discipline amongst the company.

* Responsible for all benefits administration for the company

* Ensure new hires are enrolled properly.

* Assist employees with any benefit related questions

* Provide and review paperwork for disability, FMLA, PFL, etc. and handle any questions pertaining to documentation, and tracking leave administration.

* Manage 401K enrollments, distributions, and loans.

* Payroll

* Input new hires into payroll system, time and attendance system, and benefits system.

* Make necessary changes to various systems as needed due to position changes, pay changes, etc.

* Processing payroll for all companies on a weekly cadence.

* Track and manage various bonus or incentive programs.

* Compliance

* Ensure all locations have the necessary compliance documentation posted, including but not limited to labor law posters.

* Maintaining up to date information on NYS and Federal laws

* Create and maintain company policies to ensure legal compliance.

* Tracking and maintaining NYS Sexual Harassment Prevention trainings.

* Handle employment verifications

* Responsible for managing the company newsletter and promoting company sponsored events.

Starting Range: $60,000-$70,000

Total Salary Range: $60,000-$90,000

Position Requirements

* Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience.

* 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

* Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.

* Local travel will be required.
