About the Role:

As the Human Resources Manager, you play a critical role in supporting our plant's workforce. Your responsibilities include:

* Managing various HR functions such as recruitment, training, employee relations, compensations, health and safety, payroll, and HRIS system management.

* Experience in managing in a union environment.

* Conducting full-cycle recruiting, from job postings to new employee orientation, and managing onboarding activities.

* Administering payroll processes for both hourly and salaried staff on a weekly and semimonthly basis.

* Providing?ongoing employee training in areas like health and safety, performance management, and recognition.

* Ensuring a positive work environment by organizing employee activities and events.

* Administering company leave programs and managing worker's compensation claims, ensuring compliance with employment laws.

* Maintaining HR analytic reports and assisting?in employee training & development processes.

* Supporting the implementation and consistent application of human resources policies.

* Managing HR projects at the plant level and facilitating?timely?communication of HR memos, programs, and policies.

About You

You'll?fit right in if you have:

* Minimum of 3 years of related Human Resources and labor relations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

* Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources?or related field.

* Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.

* Basic knowledge/experience in Lean operating systems and ability to work flexible hours.

* Proficiency?in Workday and Dimensions, along with excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

* Experience in conducting employee investigations and knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.

* PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Travel Requirements: Minimal, occasional support for other plants may be required.
