Human Resources Manager - Universal Logistics Holdings : Job Details

We are seeking Human Resources candidates for our operation based in Greer, SC, which supports a major automotive corporation. This individual would act as the on-site human resources contact and would work closely with management as well as with corporate human resources.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• 2-3 years of HR-related experience
• Related Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
• Professional demeanor and a career-oriented mindset

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Monitoring operational functions to meet corporate and customer specified requirements
• Providing problem-solving support while assisting in the application of corrective and preventive actions
• Interviewing and making effective recommendations for hiring
• Counseling and training employees, including making effective recommendations for improvements and terminations
• Monitoring and tracking performance and attendance-related issues
• Preparing productivity reports and addressing statistics to ensure operational needs of the business are maintained
• Maintaining personnel files and records
• Communicating and providing administrative support in all injury/compensation issues
• Assisting in scheduling all temporary staff and needed replacements
