Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Overview
The HR Manager is integral to managing a variety of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and career development. The role emphasizes creating a supportive and legally compliant workplace while serving as a strategic advisor to leadership and employees. This position combines operational HR duties with the implementation of initiatives aimed at achieving organizational goals and fostering employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce employee policies and guidelines in alignment with the employee handbook.
- Act as a primary resource for employees by addressing workplace conflicts, performance issues, and other concerns.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to strengthen recruitment and organizational culture.
- Maintain a visible presence on-site across shifts, gathering feedback and addressing questions.
- Organize employee events to promote engagement and strengthen workplace relationships.
- Provide leadership with insights into employee morale and emerging workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Conduct organizational gap analysis and implement corrective action plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supervisors and managers.
- Manage recruitment processes, including job postings and coordination with hiring managers.
- Address employee relations issues, including minor investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Advise managers on performance goal setting and employee evaluations.
- Identify and coordinate training opportunities to support employee skill development.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment
- The position is based in a manufacturing setting.
