Position Overview:

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources for Trudon's US operations, ensuring alignment with the company's global standards and values. Based in New York City, this role will manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and culture-building efforts across retail and corporate teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader with a passion for fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate and boutique roles, ensuring the hiring of top-tier talent.
  • Develop and execute effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees into Trudon's culture and operations.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and fostering positive workplace relationships.
  • Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance review process, providing guidance to managers on setting goals, delivering feedback, and managing development plans.
  • Identify training needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and handbooks in alignment with Trudon's values and legal requirements.

Culture & Values:

  • Champion Trudon's heritage and values, embedding them into HR strategies and employee programs.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace that embraces diversity and promotes collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Manage payroll, benefits administration, and other compensation-related matters for US employees.
  • Regularly assess market trends to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Prepare reports on recruitment, turnover, employee engagement, and other key HR indicators.

Support for US Expansion:

  • Collaborate with global HR and leadership teams to support the growth and development of Trudon's US operations.
  • Act as a change agent during organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in luxury retail or consumer goods.
  • In-depth knowledge of US labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
