Job Description :

An investment firm in Manhattan seeks a Human Resources Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience processing payroll, assisting with benefits, and other Human Resources operational duties.

Salary: $125-145K base

Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 remote

Hours: 8:30-5

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll, benefits, and system-related inquiries.
  • Process payroll accurately, adhering to all compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and maintain HR systems, resolving issues related to employee data, payroll, and benefits, and ensuring accurate information.
  • Lead HRIS implementation, upgrades, and introduce new initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy by performing audits, system updates, and providing reports on any changes.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other departments to optimize HRIS functionality.
  • Liaise with benefits and service providers, ensuring deliverables on all benefits related matters.
  • Generate reports and analytics to support business decision-making and compliance audits.
  • Develop policies and procedures for payroll and HRIS data management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, labor laws and tax regulations, staying informed on trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8 + years of experience in human resources, payroll processing, HRIS systems management and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and payroll systems, Oracle HCM and ADP Workforce Now required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits compliance and tax regulations.
  • Experience with data management, reporting and analytics.
