Our client is currently looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team in New York, NY.
Compensation: $110-130k
This role is hybrid with 2 days/week onsite in NYC. Candidates must be local.
Responsibilities:
- Process Creation: Develop and implement HR processes and policies to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistency across the organization.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and implementing necessary adjustments. Preferred experience with Immigration (H1B).
- Benefits Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of competitive employee benefit programs. Manage insurance renewals, employee audit, State Reporting, Census and ACA Approval and Reporting. Oversee Open enrollment, benefit enrollment, Qualifying life Events, Cobra, 401K, life Insurance, Aflac, etc.
- Employee Life Cycle Management: Including, but not limited to, overseeing management of documentation, NDA, Background check, Onboarding and Off-boarding.
- Performance Reviews: Develop and manage a robust performance management system to drive employee growth and development.
- Learning and Development: Create and implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Employee Retention and Engagement: Strategize and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, fostering positive relationships and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- HR Metrics: Utilize data analytics to assess HR metrics and provide insights to drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including talent acquisition, compliance, benefits, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Preferred understanding of IT staffing solutions and the technology industry.
