About the Company - Milliner Talent Solutions has partnered with a company located in Indianapolis to fill a Human Resources Manager role. This is a full time / direct hire opportunity working in office. This role will act as a business partner with senior management on all human resources related issues in multiple states.
About the Role - Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop, implement and manage human resources policies and processes that support the strategy, goals, and objectives of the company.
- Leads the development and continuous improvement of new Human Resources programs.
- Manage and monitor the performance management process.
- Establishes recruitment, selection and promotional programs that support diversity and inclusion in the workforce.
- Develop, implement and manage policies for effective management of business issues such as affirmative action; sexual harassment; employee complaints; training and development; career development.
- Monitor legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the business local, state, and federal.
- Coordinate HR activities throughout the organization.
- Coach, develop and mentor the HR support team.
- Acts as HR ambassador for customer audits, HR procurement meetings, compliance meetings, and external vendor or government agencies as needed.
- Other projects as needed.
Qualifications -
- Bachelor's degree required.
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
- 8+ years of Human Resources experience with 3+ years in a Human Resources Management role
- Proven success in implementing new processes and leading project improvement teams.
- Deep knowledge of Federal and local employment law, as well as government reporting obligations.
- High level of confidentiality
- Must have the flexibility to work non-routine business hours as business needs dictate
- Experience with HRIS systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now)
