Job Description :

I am hiring for a Payroll/HR Specialist in Madison, WI. The Payroll/HR Specialist will be focused on processing full cycle payroll for employees and perform additional human resources duties as well. This position is contract to hire and is a fully onsite role.

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday (Flexible)

Location: Madison, WI

Pay: Up to $31/hr depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly full cycle payroll for employees
  • Maintain employee files and employee attendance data
  • Stay informed about regulatory guidelines and wage and hour laws impacting payroll processing
  • Support the recruitment and hiring process
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees
  • Assist with creating training materials for new hires
  • Assist with human resources reporting for management

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience processing payroll and human resources experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in an HRIS/Payroll system
  • High attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
