The Human Resources Support Coordinator (HRSC) is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm that provides administrative support in the areas of onboarding, training, and personnel administration. The individual in this position must possess a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company and develop a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure. Performance Responsibilities and Standards:
Assist with the coordination of documentation and pre-hire checks required to assemble and track new hire folders. Maintain personnel and medical records (filing, annual compliance, audits, etc.) through the HRIS system (ADP) Maintain all HHA training program schedules and assist with maintaining the HHA training program as needed. Facilitate bi-weekly small group new hire orientation sessions. Maintain adequate supplies and compile necessary teaching materials for training sessions. Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department (HR, Payroll and HACNY), as deemed necessary by the Director of HR. Assist with managing telephone calls and emails to the HR department (HR and Payroll), directing calls to the appropriate person. Assist with scheduling appointments (retention/staff interviews, in-service meetings, etc.). Assist with processing personal record changes on employee intranet Provide back-up support to conduct reference calls on prospective employees. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders inside and outside of the agency. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.Requirements:
High school diploma with 3-5 years of related experience required. Associates degree in a related field preferred. Must be reliable, organized, and capable of multi-tasking Excellent communication and telephone skills. Must be able to work independently and meet stringent deadlines. Capable of maintaining integrity and trustworthiness in preserving confidential information Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office Suite, HRMS). ATS & HRIS systems knowledge a plusPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand 90% of the day. Speaking/visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend and express written/verbal communication. Frequent sitting, standing, walking Extended periods of computer use Ability to express self verbally and in writing.
