As Human Services Assistant with the Winchester Department of Social Services, you will support a dedicated team of public servants that provide exceptional Family Services objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Some Administrative Team Duties:

• Provides routine administrative tasks that supports the work of the agency
• Answers phones, provides information, and refers callers to appropriate staff or community resources;
• Greets visitors/customers, provides information, answers questions related to the operations of the agency;
• Registers benefit applications and scan necessary documents;
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail as needed;
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED; an Associates degree with coursework in subjects such as social work, human services, social or behavioral science, business, or related field preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Ability to use computers and office equipment to input, retrieve, verify, scan, and research information.
