What you will do:

Under specific direction, you will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level. You will promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. Build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships with targeted and managed accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction. Position renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships. Execute the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships, seeking out, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities. Aim to obtain and close sales on a monthly basis while expanding the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account.

How you will do it:

* With direction from the supervising manager, you will sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels.

* Focus on improving the existing building to enable the building owner to achieve their business objectives.

* Manage ongoing opportunities, particularly focusing on selling services and retrofits.

* Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.

* Build partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings.

* Actively listen, probe, and identify concerns. Understand the customer's business and speak their language.

What we look forRequired:

* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required.

* Minimum of six years of progressive field sales experience.

* At least one year of successful experience selling HVAC or building automation system services or projects.

* Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.

* Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.

* Demonstrated ability to influence account decision-makers at key levels.

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $68600-91600(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Sales Commission Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
