Inspect air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions Install, replace, or repair damaged equipment; calibrate thermostatic controls Install new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems; repair and replace damaged or worn heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning parts and equipment; repair or replace low- and high-pressure liquid lines Inspect and observe pressure of liquids and vapor with instrumentation to ensure efficient operation of the unit and make necessary adjustments; inspect and service refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps Maintain the chilled and hot water supply systems Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; clean coils, blowers, check motors, and belt tensions Assemble and install metal ductwork Assist in planning and designing of new installations of hea...Technician, HVAC, Journeyman, Skilled Trades, Manufacturing, Conditioning
