Commercial Construction HVAC Foreman

Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced, motivated Commercial Construction HVAC Foreman!

The Commercial HVAC Foreman has an advanced knowledge of installing or replacing HVAC systems correctly. Work involves troubleshooting, installing, and replacing HVAC systems and equipment on commercial job sites.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required:

* Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills

* Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams

* Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration cycles

* Ability to lead and work on a team

* Must be able to perform work duties satisfactorily.

* Knowledge and ability to meet local HVAC codes

* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

* Ability to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items and work from heights or small spaces.

* Ability to pass background check.

Requirements:

* Type II EPA Certification or EPA Universal

* Driver's License and Insurable driving record

* 2 or more years experience

* Possess basic hand tools

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 4-day work week (Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts)

Pay Range: $26-$35/ per hour, based on experience.
