HVAC/R Service Technician - Orion Talent : Job Details

Position Details: --- Title: HVAC Service Technician --- Location: Eagle, CO (Western slopes) --- Travel/Schedule: You generally will work standard day-shift hours Mon-Fri, although you occasionally will be required to travel outside of Eagle is necessary to respond to customer requests in areas such as (but not limited to): Vail, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Rifle and Grand Junction. --- Compensation: Target base salary -$42/hr - $46/hr+ o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Relocation assistance / temporary housing is available as needed --- Benefits: Company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical / Dental Insurance; Life / AD&D Insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts; Short- and Long-Term Disability; Vacation/Vacation; $100 annual fitness reimbursement; 401K with employer match; tuition reimbursement; HSA contributions; etc Position Description: As an HVAC Service Technician at the company, you will be a trusted expert in diagnosing, maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems. You'll ensure equipment operates efficiently, provide exceptional service to clients, and mentor team members with your technical expertise. Some specific responsibilities include: --- Diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC/R systems, including systems up to 100 tons cooling capacity, 10 million BTUs heating capacity, and boilers up to 150 HP. --- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment using schematics, drawings and manufacturer handbooks to ensure efficiency and compliance with local codes. --- Perform scheduled maintenance, seasonal overhauls, and modifications to improve system reliability and performance. --- Collaborate with clients to ensure satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and effective communication. --- Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations for refrigerants, fuels, and hazardous materials. --- Complete all required documentation promptly, including work orders, safety checklists, and equipment registrations. In order to be successful in this role, you should have 5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial / industrial HVAC/R service. If not licensed in the state of CO already, you must be able to obtain a Journeyman license. This position requires a clean driving record (minimal tickets, no DUIs, etc).
