No matter what your heating or cooling needs are you can count on KMI A/C and Heating to help. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct service and repair on residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions for repairs and replacements.
  • Interpret and follow wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure proper installation and repair.
  • Utilize a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Make informed repair and replacement decisions to optimize system performance.
  • Apply knowledge of basic ductwork practices to ensure efficient airflow.
  • Implement air balancing principles and techniques to achieve optimal system performance and comfort.
  • Provide advanced customer service by maintaining a personable demeanor and building strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair is required at a minimum.
  • NATE Certification is a plus.
  • EPA Certification is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
  • Must pass a background check, drug test, and license check.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in making repair and replacement decisions based on diagnostic findings.
  • Advanced customer service skills with a personable demeanor and strong customer relations skills.
  • Ability to walk the customer through the problems, solutions, pricing, and scheduling.
  • Ability to use ipad for service scheduling, daily notes, collecting payments, customer updates, etc.
  • Knowledge of basic ductwork practices to ensure efficient airflow.
  • Understanding of air balancing principles and techniques to optimize system performance.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • 7:30am - 4pm Monday through Friday. (Weekends, Overtime & Evenings as needed)
