Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced healthcare administrator to join our Long-Term Services & Supports (LTSS) Team. As the Money Follows the Person (MFP) Grant Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

* planning, directing, and overseeing the HOME Choice Team responsible for administering Ohio's MFP Grant

* coordinating program policies & procedures, project initiatives, and proposed legislation with others within ODM, partner agencies, vendors, and others

* representing ODM in regular calls with CMS

* completing the annual MFP budget process with assistance from other areas within ODM

* overseeing the creation and delivery of various reports to CMS

* representing ODM in conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, and responds to sensitive inquiries from CMS, members, vendors, providers, and others

Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 36 mos. exp. in planning & administering health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis).

* Or 12 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 2, 65296. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.

* Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
