Insight Global is looking for a Tier 3 Desktop Support who will be answering and resolving escalated technical support issues with workstation hardware & software products, as well as day to day IT operational tasks as required. This position will frequently be asked to resolve the most complex issues escalated through the lower levels of technical support. 50% of the tickets will be software based and around four thousand tickets will be around break/fix or new install. Outside of that the majority will be around issues with launching applications. The company has around 300 different applications so it's not necessary that you have experience in every single one, but the understanding of where to go to and troubleshooting measure to get the answers is what's needed. Not on day 1, but at some point, you will also be the team lead/supervisor for a group of people. Need to be willing to go onsite in Houston, Austin, or Dallas, and the pay range for this will be $34-37/hr depending on experience. * Certifications (ITIL, A+, MCP, etc.) * Experience in the AEC realm in CAD and engineering programs * Minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience in Information Technology * Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems. * Experience being a team lead or supervisor in a past role. * Microsoft Networking, Active Directory, MS Intune, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and RDP. * Experience working in a medium or large sized business for a year * Ability to define root causes, using product designs, code, or specifications.
