The qualified individual will be self-motivated, goal-driven, work well in both team and individual environments. Must be able to work safely, recognize and correct unsafe conditions, and select appropriate PPE based on job requirements.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting, disassembly, assessing, ordering parts, repairing, and testing functionality of mechanical and electrical equipment such as part loaders, high precision hydraulic toolspindle units, CNC units, pick and place devices, etc.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and understand tolerances and classes of fitAble to read blueprints (both detail and assembly) and repair used components to like new O.E.M. standards including hydraulically, mechanically and electricallyUnderstand proper disassembly and assembly procedures and how important it is to have a clean and organized work station and the principles of 5SRun manual tool room machines such as a bandsaw, drill press, vertical milling machines, lathes and surface grindersGood knowledge of cutting toolsG and M code programmingSet-up of CNC equipment highly preferred to support the equipment repairFamiliarity with Fanuc robotics is a significant plusKnowledge of the metric system and converting from English to metric is a must.Required Experience/Skills3-5 years' setting up and operating Hydromat rotary transfer machinesCandidates with an associate's degree (AA) in Industrial Electronics Technology or Precision Machining from a two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience in these fields highly preferred.Must have a combination of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and some electrical experience.Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints, work instructions, SOP's, and other technical information in English.Must be able to lift 35lbs. on a regular basisMust be able to use tools, equipment, work aids precision measuring instrumentsMust be able to monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to be sure the machine is working properly and use proper precision measuring devicesAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple prioritiesMust be self-directed and take initiative to learn new skills relating to the maintenance of the machineWork EnvironmentWill be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, oils, and chemicals in a loud manufacturing environmentWill be standing on concrete the entire shiftFor more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
