As the Nutanix service owner, you will collaborate closely with our Cloud Center of Excellence to ensure our systems operate at peak performance and reliability.   • Design, implement, and manage Nutanix infrastructure.
  • Perform regular upgrades, migrations, and maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Act as the Nutanix service owner, coordinating all aspects of Nutanix environments.
  • Fix and resolve issues related to Nutanix environments.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Center of Excellence to align Nutanix solutions with cloud strategies.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, processes, and lifecycle management.
  • Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them during Nutanix evaluations.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to other IT teams and collaborators.
  • Follow standard security policies and methodologies.
For This Role You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong experience with Nutanix technologies, including Design/Automation/Deployment (AHV, Prism Central, Foundation, etc.).
  • Proven experience with Nutanix setup, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher certification.
  • Previous experience with VMware.
  • Experience working with the Cloud Center of Excellence.
  • Familiarity with other virtualization platforms and cloud services.
  • Experience with Azure.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
  • Experience managing environments with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
