As a social media intern for the I-CORT physical eduction program that centers on play, philosophy, nature, and youth, their role is multifaceted, involving the communication of the program's distinctive ethos and values across various social media platforms.
Their primary task is to craft compelling and engaging content that effectively communicates the program's philosophy and approach to physical education. This could involve creating posts, videos, and graphics that highlight the importance of play, the integration of philosophical concepts, and the connection to nature in promoting holistic youth development. Additionally, they manage the program's presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and ensuring that the program's voice and messaging remain consistent across all channels. Utilizing social media as a tool for educational outreach, they develop content that educates the audience about the philosophical underpinnings of the program's approach to physical education, which might involve sharing articles, infographics, and videos that explain key concepts and demonstrate how they are applied in practice.
