Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud Security models and services IBM DataPower API management and various authentication and authorization protocols. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a focus on developing and securing APIs ensuring robust data protection and contributing to our commercial lending domain. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure APIs using IBM DataPower and related technologies.
• Oversee the design and deployment of cloud security models and services.
• Provide expertise in API traffic management testing and lifecycle management.
• Ensure robust authentication and authorization using OAUTH JSON Web Token and SAML.
• Implement PKI encryption and HTTPS for secure data transmission.
• Utilize XSLT Mapping for data transformation and integration.
• Lead the architectural design and pattern implementation for scalable solutions.
• Manage API Gateway configurations and policies for optimal performance.
• Conduct analytics to monitor and improve API performance and security.
• Implement SSO for seamless user authentication across platforms.
• Develop and maintain DataPower Security Gateway configurations.
• Work with JSON Rest API XML and SOAP for data exchange and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align API solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data security.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the commercial lending domain by developing secure and efficient solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in API security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance and security.
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of API configurations.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Support the hybrid work model by effectively collaborating both remotely and on-site.
• Ensure that all solutions are scalable maintainable and aligned with business goals. Qualifications
  • Must have experience with Cloud Security models and services.
  • Must have expertise in IBM DataPower SaaS and IBM DataPower Appliance.
  • Must have skills in API traffic management testing and lifecycle management.
  • Must be proficient in authentication and authorization protocols like OAUTH and SAML.
  • Must have experience with PKI encryption HTTPS and SSO implementation.
  • Must be skilled in JSON Rest API XML and SOAP.
  • Nice to have experience in the commercial lending domain.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

Certifications Required Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) IBM Certified Solution Developer API Management Certification Applications will be accepted until 30- Oct-2024. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $116,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
