Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Load empty pallets onto the finished product drop zone and ensure the ice machine is properly staging finished product.
- Complete documentation such as, weight log, downtime log, and daily sanitation records in accordance with food safety, GMPs, and Weis Markets policies and procedures.
- Ensure ice machine is properly supplied with bags for production.
- Utilize a powered industrial pallet jack to take finished products from the ice production machine to the stretch wrapper for final packaging. Training and certification will be provided through Weis Markets.
- Take completed pallets of bagged ice from the stretch wrapper to freezer storage areas for holding.
- Stage pallets for shipment to the Weis Markets distribution center where the product will be dispersed based upon location demand.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis associate has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
