ID/DD Residential Manager - Village Behavioral Health : Job Details

Village Behavioral Health began providing mental health services to adults, children, and families in 2014. Since our start we have grown to expand upon the services we provide to the community including supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse. Village Behavioral Health is a community-based counseling agency committed to providing high quality emotional and mental health care to children, adults, and families. We are looking for ID/DD Residential Manager. We are currently seeking a full-time residential group home Residential Manager, who possesses strong supervision skills, a caring and positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively. This person must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, community, and staff members. Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains the day-to-day operation of the residential facility by assuring the cleanliness of the homes and purchasing needed supplies.
• Conducts and/or reviews performance evaluations of staff in accordance with policy.
• Communicates regularly with the community.
• Train and supervise employees at the residential group home.
• Managing the daily schedules and covering shifts when needed.
• Monitors implementation of programs and documentation process.
• Assists with coordinating all services offered to each client.
• Ensures implementation of all rules and regulations in the residential group home.
• Flexible
• Other duties assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least one year of successful work experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities developmental disabilities, social work, human services, or other allied professions
• 2 years of supervisory skills
