IDENTIFICATION CARDS/DEERS LEAD - Patriot Enterprises LLC : Job Details

The Identification Cards/DEERS Lead will oversee the issuance and verification of identification cards and manage the enrollment process in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). This role involves ensuring compliance with military regulations, leading a team of specialists, and providing exceptional customer service to service members and their families.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in military personnel administration, specifically in ID card issuance or DEERS management. Proven leadership skills in managing teams or projects in a military environment.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Clearance: Must be able to pass a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) background check

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the issuance of identification cards and the enrollment process in DEERS for military personnel and eligible family members.
• Ensure compliance with military regulations and policies regarding ID card issuance and DEERS processes.
• Lead and manage a team of specialists, providing training and guidance on ID card and DEERS procedures.
• Verify eligibility and documentation for ID card issuance, addressing any discrepancies or issues.
• Provide assistance and guidance to service members and their families regarding ID card and DEERS processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all ID card issuances and DEERS enrollments, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and to maintain the accuracy of records.
• Prepare and present reports on ID card issuance and DEERS statistics for management review.
• Stay informed about updates to military policies and procedures related to ID cards and DEERS, ensuring team knowledge is current.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in ID card issuance and DEERS management.
