We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, a passion for helping clients navigate complex immigration processes, and the ability to handle a diverse caseload. This role involves advising and representing individuals, families, and businesses on various immigration matters, including visa applications, green cards, citizenship, and deportation defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in immigration matters, including but not limited to family-based immigration, employment-based visas, asylum, and deportation defense.
  • Prepare and file petitions, applications, and motions with immigration courts, the USCIS, and other government agencies.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
  • Prepare clients for immigration interviews, court hearings, and other related proceedings.
  • Draft legal briefs, responses to RFEs (Requests for Evidence), and other supporting documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and colleagues to provide case updates and legal advice.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to provide high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration law (preferred but not required).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) is a plus.
