Implementation Manager Job Summary
As an Implementation Manager, you play a vital role in our growing company. You are the primary point of contact for partners during the onboarding process from start to finish. The Implementation Manager is responsible for the delivery and implementation of newly sold software products. You will be working directly with partners from post-sale until their product onboarding is complete and their product is live. Tasks include working with partners on configuration, delivering effective end-user training, workflow guidance, and providing best practices.
Success in this role involves not only launching successful projects but delighting customers with a seamless onboarding experience. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a customer-first mentality, a capacity to give and receive constructive feedback, and a willingness to equally teach and learn.
Implementation Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary point of contact for partners during implementation.
- Responsible for successful adoption, onboarding, and launches associated with the assigned accounts as well as a smooth transition to Partner Success.
- Educates and trains partners on how to use purchased product(s) and system features.
- Maintains Project Plan for each account via PM tracking tools (Asana, Salesforce, Notion, etc).
- Collaborates across internal teams to ensure tasks are completed for implementation.
- Proficiency at time management and estimates to completion; calendar management and setting proper expectations with partners.
- Supports ongoing partner education by developing and updating training materials and help content as needed.

- Exceptional communication and customer service skills are a must.
- Project management skills both internally and externally, utilizing project management tools, and maintaining project plans.
- Teaching and facilitation skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts (SFTP, APIs, SSO)
- Experience in higher education is a plus.
Compensation Range: $75,000 - $90,000 base salary. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to earn an annual performance-based bonus and/or equity based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company's policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience.
