In-Building Project Manager - NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company : Job Details

We are looking to hire a In-Building Project Manager II in Rolling Meadows, IL/Bedminster/Basking Ridge, NJ/ Annapolis Junction, MD/ Irving, TX Hybrid In-office 2 days per week

Recent Inbuilding PM experience is must

Other Locations: Rolling Meadows, IL; Bedminster/Basking Ridge, NJ; Annapolis Junction, MD; Irving, TX Hybrid: In-office 2 days per week (schedule set by contractor)

JOB DUTIES:

• PM will serve as an In-Building project manager for VBG sales driven projects to implement 4G and 5G at Verizon business customer locations. Facilitate project implementation calls on a weekly and bi-weekly basis with Engineering.
• Daily oversight/project management of Sales-driven projects that require an In-Building/Venue implementation (4G, 5G).
• PM will build and maintain collaborative relationships across business units including the Business Group Sales Program Management Office, the market based network teams, IBV Engineering, Network Assurance, vendors and peer project managers.
• Must be an expert in creating timelines, keeping projects on track, identifying potential risk and mitigating impact to timelines by working with all of the appropriate Network organizations.

Must Have:

• Excellent communication skills setting clear direction for process, standards and roles/responsibilities.
• Ability to summarize lower level details to an executive format using clear, concise language that highlights the key messages and take-aways.
• This includes summarizing issues, accomplishments, and priorities of the program Ability to raise escalations when needed and drive resolution.
• Excellent facilitation skills to manage project meetings.

Qualifications:

• Previous agile project management experience a plus.
• Associate's degree in Engineering, Management, or related field. Bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years' experience managing large cross-functional or enterprise-wide projects.
• 5 years' experience in Telecommunications networks.
• Highly motivated team player who can make independent decisions.
• Must be comfortable as a self-starter in a dynamic technical environment
• Synthesize information, show correlations and draw conclusions, enabling formation of plans and expectations
• Experience managing projects in regards to Network Departmental scope.
