We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an In-Home Care Companion in Hastings, Nebraska. This role is vital in helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Description:As an In-Home Care Companion, you will provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
• Ensuring a safe and clean environment in the client's home
• Following the care plan as directed by the supervisor or client's family

Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and transferring clients safely
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnights
