While on company premises, the incumbent is primarily responsible for seeking new accounts in specific markets and verticals as deemed appropriate by sales management. The position does not require face to face interaction with customers. This representative is an exemplary sales and customer service representative, consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals while offering outstanding customer service to customers, and contributing to the overall growth and revenues of the company. Incumbents in this position operate exclusively from their assigned office location.Essential DutiesEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for identifying, developing and researching new accounts and developing sales strategy.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding all established goals by converting prospects to customers and ensuring repeat business through prompt, courteous service.
  • Monitors goals and progress, and provides weekly reports to management on the status of prospects.
  • Using the company's internal communication system, conducts cold calls in prospecting potential clients.
  • Conducts internet research in developing new client leads.
  • Processes all necessary paperwork regarding estimates and communicates requirements to the department manager.
  • Responsible for interfacing with appropriate departments to ensure proper processing.
CompensationTotal compensation will be calculated as a combination of base salary plus commissions on client revenues generated in excess of specific thresholds as outlined in the offer letter. Residual commissions will be paid on results generated by Client Sales Representative when clients are transferred.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent in this position does not supervise staff.Environment/Physical ActivityThe environment for this position is an office environment, mostly clean and comfortable. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise. The incumbent is in a non-confined office area in which he or she is free to move about at will.In the course of performing this job, the incumbent typically spends time as follows:
  • Walking Occasional. Walking is occasional in the performance of duties. Worker will walk as necessary throughout the day.
  • Sitting Constant. Worker will spend most of the workday sitting in the performance of duties.
  • Lifting Minimal. Worker will lift less than 5 lbs. throughout the day.
  • Reaching Minimal. Worker may reach to secure forms and documents throughout the day.
  • Typing. Use of computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Vision Constant. Worker is constantly required to use accurate visual acuity in the performance of duties.
