Job Summary: Affirmed Home Care is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team and provide exceptional care to clients in New London County! This is a part-time, hourly position with flexible scheduling and opportunities to make a positive impact in our community. As an individual contributor, you will have the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients and make a difference in their daily lives. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers competitive compensation starting at $17 per hour, with the potential for salary increases based on performance. Employees will also be eligible for weekly pay, as well as the opportunity for benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Responsibilities: • Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing. • Help clients with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising nurse. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided. • Promote a safe and positive environment for clients by following all health and safety protocols. • Build and maintain rapport with clients and their families, ensuring exceptional care and satisfaction. Requirements: • Must be a certified Home Health Aide/CNA in the state of Connecticut. • Previous experience in home care or a healthcare setting preferred. • Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, families, and coworkers. • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different client locations. • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
