Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking a mission-minded Associate to join us as a full-time (37.5 Hours) Individual Giving Officer. Must reside in Ohio prior to start date.
Summary
The Individual Giving Officer leverages creativity and strong relationship-building skills to lead our annual giving program. This role is centered on developing engaging narratives and design concepts for annual fund solicitations, while fostering meaningful connections with key annual fund donors. The Officer will collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team, Development Operations team, and Stewardship Officer to create targeted campaigns that resonate with current, lapsed, and prospective supporters, enhancing overall donor engagement and support for our mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead the creative development and execution of a successful annual giving program, encompassing monthly donors, federated giving, patient giving, and staff giving.
Cultivate and manage a portfolio of key annual fund donors, employing innovative strategies to engage, solicit, and strengthen relationships.
Act as the project manager for annual fund solicitations, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and adherence to timelines for all campaigns.
Collaborate with external partners to print and distribute solicitation materials.
Utilize various direct response communication channels (direct mail, email, website) to craft engaging content that captivates current, lapsed, and prospective donors.
Write compelling copy for solicitation campaigns and relay the theme to the Marketing and Communications team to design and enhance these materials.
Apply insights from the Development Operations team to inform creative solicitation strategies, focusing on messaging, timing, and donor segmentation.
Monitor campaign performance metrics and reports provided by the Development Operations team to evaluate effectiveness and inform future creative initiatives.
Partner with the Stewardship Officer to implement engaging stewardship strategies that ensure timely and meaningful acknowledgments for annual fund donors.
Stay current on annual giving trends and best practices, integrating innovative marketing approaches to elevate fundraising efforts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree.
3-5 years of experience in annual giving, marketing, or fundraising.
Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple tasks.
