Responsibilities: Create new revenue streams for Madix through designing fixture solutions for our customers. Conceptualize and co-develop innovative product designs that align with the brand identity and target market. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, including marketing objectives, budget constraints, and technical specifications. Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts effectively. Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends to inform design decisions. Develop partnerships with industry leaders in emerging technologies to expand and augment our product offerings. Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and market research. Collaborate with Engineering to ensure new designs hit intended objectives. Ensure designs comply with regulatory standards and specifications. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee the production process and resolve any design-related issues. Stay updated on emerging technologies and design tools to enhance efficiency and creativity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as an industrial designer in the retail industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, or AutoCAD. Excellent sketching and visualization skills to communicate design concepts effectively. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to stakeholders. Creative problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of retail trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics. Experience with sustainability principles and practices in product design is a plus. Top of Form Benefit Details
