Position Details: --- Title: Industrial Electrician --- Location: Canandaigua, NY (28 miles south of Rochester) --- Schedule: 12-hour night shift (7p - 7a) on 3-4-4-3 schedule --- Compensation: Target baserate -$30/hr - $36/hr o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: $5K sign-on bonus --- Benefits: o Medical (Comprehensive PPO, two HRA Plans and an HSA plan) o Dental (basic and comprehensive coverage) o Vision (basic and premier coverage) o Prescription drug coverage o 401K with a 6% company match (Eligible to participate from day one (1) with 100 % vesting in all company provided funds immediately) o New Hire Wellness Bonus (see plan details) o Healthcare and Dependent day care flexible spending accounts o Livongo diabetes program o Corporate discounts Position Description: In this role you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems associated with production and facilities equipment. Some specific responsibilities include: --- Troubleshooting electrical, computer, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment/systems commonly used in industrial manufacturing applications. --- Reading electrical prints and wiring schematics. --- Electrical circuits - 24V, 120V, 240V and 480V. Also includes 'high voltage' power distribution (up to 34.5KV), grounding, and associated components (transformers, breakers, fuses, disconnects, etc.) --- AC and DC motors & variable frequency drives. --- Servo motors and encoders. --- Laptop connection and communication with different types of PLCs for troubleshooting purposes; includes working knowledge of Ethernet IP address and serial communications. --- Industrial temperature control systems, including thermocouples, temperature controllers, solid state relays, and heating elements. --- Industrial safety circuitry, including 'Emergency Stop' circuits. In order to be successful in this role, you should have troubleshooting and maintenance experience with Electrical Systems (AC circuits-motors and drives, DC circuits-motors and drives, 480 Volts 3 phase, transformers, control power, relays) and Electronic Systems (controls, ladder logic, PLC programming, etc), as well as fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems (gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc).
