- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems, ensuring the highest standards of performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assess and repair systems and components.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and other departments to coordinate installations and repairs, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed in full compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for accountability and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior electricians and apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to foster career growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by continuously learning about new technologies and best practices in electrical systems and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Valid electrical license/certification as required by state or local regulations.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills , attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with team members across various departments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including daily & weekend overtime in a rotating shift schedule.
