What we're looking for:- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred experience:- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- AutoCAD experience.
What you'll focus on:- Participate in all aspects of engineering including process assessment, production controls, Continuous Improvement, design, and reporting/analysis.
- Assist in other projects and function as a resource for other team members.
- Learn and apply engineering concepts to improvement projects.
- Updating layouts: regularly modifying and refining engineering layouts to incorporate design changes, improvements, and updates.
- Making custom parts for machine equipment in SolidWorks - design and create custom parts tailored to specific project needs.
- Project management: keeping track of project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
