Industrial Engineer (CI Engineer)The Industrial Engineer is an innovative thinker and problem solver that leads in creating, developing, and deploying process improvements to support a safe and efficient lean manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities:
  • Executes manufacturing CI assignments with/without supervision in the value stream.
  • Create flow by implementing a lean manufacturing system that aligns with strategic objects. Including installation of assembly lines, material pull systems, and u-shaped cells.
  • Evaluates, assists and able to implement efficiency improvements in determined processes or equipment as assigned with and without guidance.
  • Evaluates and performs time studies and process observations for efficiency improvements and line balancing.
  • Develops and maintain standard work and other visual management tools.
  • Projects may include new and improved layout proposals to improve material and process flow.
  • Work safely utilizing PPE and following all safety procedures.
  • Follow all inventory control procedures while implementing Kanban processes.
  • Assist in training of the necessary Lean transformation tools and techniques as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • BS in industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in a Lean Environment/Culture and a Continuous Improvement role.
  • Basic CAD experience required.
  • Lean basic knowledge required and practical application of Lean Tools.
  • Strong experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and management in a productive manner.
  • Proven Ability to Drive and Develop Kaizen activity in a Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use hand tools as needed.
  • Self-motivated - Driver type personality and strives for Accuracy and Proficiency at assigned tasks.
  • Must support and display Quikserv Core Principles while leading by example in Safety & Quality.
Physical Demands:
  • Must support Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and walking.
