Job Description :

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Onsite - San Antonio

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM. Overtime may be required, primarily on Fridays, with occasional Saturdays depending on project needs.

Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension based on project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the Automotive/Truck industry.
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred).
  • Extensive experience with AUTOCAD (2D and 3D layouts).
  • Manufacturing experience (line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, standard work, etc.).
  • Experience with manufacturing tooling and equipment installation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering projects by developing technical drawings that translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications.
  • Update layouts using AUTOCAD software.
  • Place and follow up on purchase orders for new tooling and equipment.
  • Verify design drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Additional Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in AUTOCAD software (2D and 3D).
  • Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
  • Effective time management to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards.
  • Advanced mathematical skills.
  • Ability to perform physical measurements for layout creation.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project reviews between departments and stakeholders.
  • Create and follow up on problem follow-up sheets to monitor and guide activity completion.
  • Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to support prototype pilot builds.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work as required by project deliverables.
  • Proficiency in MS Office for analysis and executive presentations.
  • Previous experience in the Automotive/Truck industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
