Industrial Engineer - Advance Auto Parts : Job Details

This position will be a part of the distribution team focused on continuous improvement efforts, labor management, and implementation of standard processes and procedures across the Supply Chain. This position helps lead the development and maintenance of an accurate and effective Work Measurement System, focusing on standardization in process and methods, and ensuring effective productivity measurements are established for identified functions through time studies and frequency studies conducted in the Distribution Center. Additionally, the position will analyze DC layout, rack profiles, technology options, slotting methodology, and other aspects of the DC to drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain from the impact the DC has on the customers (AAP stores) to the internal impact at the DC, to improvements our vendors/suppliers can help achieve.
